Fall of Man

Projection and Sculptural Ceramics Installation

How much of our lives is what our society projects on us?

How much is what we project on ourselves?

The Fall of Man was a projection installation set inside an abandoned factory that I created during a residency at the Archie Bray Foundation. I projected images, video and twitter streams onto handmade ceramic torsos in an abandoned building as an examination of how are selves are built on the transient nature of culture. The ephemeral nature of the projection was in stark contrast to the movement of natural forces evident in the decay of the buildings around the installation.
