"ROADLESS" by Nelson Guda is a compilation of photographs and writings that journal Nelson's attempts to find, photograph and advocate for America's Inventoried Roadless Areas, 60 million acres of beautiful and little-known public land. Over the course of six years Dr. Guda traveled across the country hiking and kayaking into some of our country's most important forests and mountains. His writings capture his emotional response to these lands as well as his reaction as a former ecologist, and they provide a compelling complement to his meticulous landscape photographs.
